The ranges we stand behind are EverEscents Organic Hair Care, Clever Curl, Eco Style Project, Pure, Keune Style range and Keune Men’s 1922.
We proudly use Keune colours, one of the cleanest professional ranges we have discovered. The Keune colour range provides gorgeous shine and consistent coverage, with significantly lower levels of the harsh chemicals used by most brands. Plus, their values align with ours: from being CO₂ neutral to helping train hairdressers in disadvantaged communities.

Why We Chose Keune
Keune is a family-owned company with a big heart. Their ethos is to take care of people and the planet, with initiatives like being fully CO₂ neutral and running programs in Brazil to train people in the slums to become hairdressers.
Our research shows Keune is one of the cleanest professional colours on the market, with much lower percentages of the harsher chemicals required for consistent, lasting results. The permanent colour is enriched with pearlescent coconut oil (cocamide) to protect hair and scalp, while their semi-colour range is vegan, gluten-free, and infused with sea silk (red algae extract) and soothing Boswellia Serrata Gum.
While professional hair colouring still requires some chemical content to lighten, deepen, and provide coverage, we always look closely at which ingredients are used and how much. Many brands that are “PPD-free” or “ammonia-free” replace those chemicals with PTD (instead of PPD) or Ethanolamine/MEA/DEA (instead of ammonia). Keune’s permanent range is PPD-free (using PTD) and contains ammonia but in far lower amounts than many brands we’ve researched.
